Definitions

Gutter: Space between columns
Bleed: Space around document to avoid white trim when cutting (3mm)

Slug: space beyond the bleed area used for trim marks, colour swatches etc.

To fill text box with sample text:

linking columns, drop caps and shapes

Bringing in from photoshop:

• Resolution: 300dpi 
• Save as .tiff or .psd
• Dont use Jpegs for transferring to inDesign.
• CMYK

Bringing in from Illustrator:

• CMYK
• Save as .Ai

You need all images with the inDesign document when printing.
