I had this idea of a flip book with holes cut out that reveal smaller parts of the bigger picture as you go through it. This would be applied to a big music festival, like Reading & Leeds or Glastonbury.
I quite like this idea however it would be quite difficult to produce and assemble. Also designing for a big festival like this is very hypothetical and not very realistic.
I then thought of designing a flyer for a 'Jam Night' which is where musicians that may or may not have met before meet up and play together, which is very fitting to the 'it takes two to tango' proverb. I came up with this idea of the Letterforms being cut out of the front sheet and then the small, silhouetted musicians filling in the negative letterspace, which plays with the idea of two things coming together to make a better whole.
These rough sketches are incomplete but i think that it would look good when rendered properly on a computer.
