Design For Web: Scamp Feedback

These were the questions that I decided to ask for feedback on before the crit.

After the crits we talked about what would be good questions to ask. The most common and unhelpful question that our group asked was 'Does it work?' which was deemed unhelpful because it is too vague and the word 'works' has no definition without context. Asking for aesthetic advice, as well, is bad feedback to ask for and receive as it is very subjective and stylistic features and choice of colour will change between people. Another point that was raised was to not load the questions and try to lead the people critting the work down a path of validating what you have already done as this is unhelpful and will leave you with feedback that you will be unable to use to improve your work.

The feedback I received was generally pointing towards the scamp on the right and at the bottom as these look more 'campaign-ey' and if there were pictures of poor conditions present then the cause would be instantly communicated. I am going to go ahead with an amalgamation of these two scamps and use the bottom layout with a large black and white image behind the 'World Toilet Day' large type with the links at the bottom. When the links are click it could take you to a page more similar to the top left scamp as this has more potential of delivering information clearly.
