I played with it looking like a book but it looked crap:

This will be the first contact that a user has with the site, a gif of the 6 key themes of the peoples common finishing on the stamp logo.
Landing page developed:
Adding some extra information and links to social media and a search bar helped to make the design more recognisable as a web page.
If the user selects 'The Peoples Common' this is the page that they land on:
All of the pages are relatively simple and the user just needs to scroll down to find out information
About page, scrolled down a bit:
The about page delivers basic information that explains The Peoples Common
When scrolled the page disappears under the tabs through the gradient. The top bar and bottom bar remain constant throughout the website
At the bottom of the page is a link to the forum
All links get a thick-thin strikethrough when hovered over. the page that you are currently on has a permanent strikethrough
All pages follow this general layout.
The events page has a second set of tabs to browse through different months, The content of this page should disappear under these tabs and not the master tabs.
The menu page is on large scrolling page that runs like the About page
The times page is the simplest just featuring opening hours:
Again, working from my rough scamps I designed the Forum in a similar way to the rest of the website
The homepage for the forum gives a quick overview of the most popular threads and comments across the board
This is a theme dedicated page where you can scroll through all the listings and get involved with the discussions. A more compact version of this will be available for iPhone and Android
